Our history.
In 1977, Ed Wilgus began the journey that would create Wilgus Insurance Agency with himself, his wife, and his two daughters. Growing the business one client at a time, he built this business to multiple locations. In 1986 at the age of just 18 years old, Susan Wilgus-Murphy became a licensed agent and continued working in the family business and never looked back. Susan and Ed worked side by side for 20 years until Susan took over the agency and remains the current owner.
Today and beyond.
Fast forward to today and Wilgus Insurance still proudly serves the Delmarva Peninsula. We have three locations that offer personal insurance, business insurance, and financial planning. Our 46 year long journey is only the beginning.
